I have two identical folders with identical folder trees

Mar 08, 2019 I should also probably mention Hazel by Noodlesoft. Hazel is a great investment for any Mac owner. File/folder synchronization is just one of the many, many system actions that can be automated through Hazel. It's a time-tested and well-loved app from a venerable developer. Definitely worth checking out. In the Hazel Preferences Pane add the MacBook Sync folder and copy the rules that target the Desktop to it by select them and then holding Option as you drag them across. Go through each rule and change the Move options to replace the existing file.

SCHOOL-1 (root)

- Class B

- Class C

In SCHOOL-1 folder, I want all my open office files and in SCHOOL-2 folder, I want all my pdfs. I'm looking for an automator function (or hazel) to copy any pdf files from a subfolder in SCHOOL-1 and move them to their corresponding subfolder in SCHOOL-2.


I don't want to make a separate action for each subfolder, because there are about 200 of them.
